About Export Bank Statement

Export Bank Statement is a tool that turns a bank statement PDF into clean, structured data — Excel, CSV, QBO, OFX, QIF or Tally XML — with every transaction checked against the statement's running balance so the totals reconcile before you download.

Why we built it

Getting numbers out of a bank statement PDF is a job everyone dreads. Copy-paste turns tidy tables into scrambled text, scanned statements can't be copied at all, and most “converters” hand back a mess you then spend an hour fixing. Bookkeepers, accountants and small-business owners lose real time to it every month. We built Export Bank Statement to do that job properly — accurately, quickly, and without asking you to retype a single figure.

How it works

It reads any statement. Digital PDFs and scanned copies (using OCR), from almost any bank, in a range of layouts.
It checks the maths.Opening balance + money in − money out must equal the closing balance. Anything that doesn't reconcile is flagged, not hidden — so you never pass on numbers that don't add up.
It exports where you work. Clean columns for Excel and Sheets, or import-ready files for Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho and Tally.

Our commitment to your data

Bank data is sensitive, so we hold as little of it as possible. Files are processed and then deleted immediately — there is no retention beyond the request — and your data is never used to train AI. Who's behind it

Export Bank Statement is built and run by Rudra, its founder. It's an independent product — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any bank or accounting-software company named on the site; those names are used only to describe compatibility. We also publish open-source developer tools and API clients so teams can build on the same engine.
