Bank statement PDFs into Xero
When a bank feed breaks or a client sends a year of PDFs, you still need statement lines in Xero. Convert the PDF, check it balances, and import lines you can reconcile normally.
Export Bank Statement connects to Xero read-only and converts bank statement PDFs into Xero's statement-import CSV or an OFX file. Before you download, it checks that opening balance plus credits minus debits equals the closing balance printed on the statement. In Xero you import the file from the bank account's Manage Account → Import a Statement menu, and the lines arrive ready to reconcile.

Nothing half-imported
Xero will happily accept a file that's missing a page of transactions. The balance check catches that before the import, not at the next reconciliation.

Is this a Xero bank feed?expand_more
No. Bank feeds come from banks through Xero's partner programme. This converts statement PDFs into files you import, which is the right tool for backfills, closed accounts, and banks without a feed.
Does it write anything to my Xero organisation?expand_more
No. The connection is read-only. You import the statement file yourself.
Where do I import the file in Xero?expand_more
Open the bank account in Xero, choose Manage Account, then Import a Statement. Select the CSV or OFX file and follow the prompts.
Do I need a paid plan?expand_more

How do I disconnect Xero?expand_more
