Bank statement PDFs into QuickBooks Online
Connect your QuickBooks Online company, convert the statement, and import a file that already adds up. You stay in charge of matching and categorising, the way QuickBooks expects.
Export Bank Statement connects to QuickBooks Online through Intuit's own sign-in, read-only. It converts a bank statement PDF into a QBO (Web Connect), OFX or QuickBooks CSV file, checks that opening balance plus credits minus debits equals the closing balance, and you import the file under Bank transactions → Upload from file. Nothing is written to your books by us.

From PDF to QuickBooks Online in four steps
Connect QuickBooks
From your account page, sign in with Intuit and pick the company. Takes about thirty seconds.
Convert the statement
Drop in the PDF, digital or scanned. Every transaction is extracted and the totals are checked.
Download QBO, OFX or CSV
Pick the format your QuickBooks setup prefers. The file is built from reconciled figures.
Upload and match
In QuickBooks, go to Bank transactions → Upload from file, then match and categorise as usual.
Read-only by design
What you get with QuickBooks Online
The totals are checked before QuickBooks sees them
A missing row in a bank upload is the kind of error that surfaces months later at year end. Every conversion is tied back to the statement's own closing balance, and a mismatch is flagged before you download.
Three import routes, one conversion
QBO for Web Connect, OFX for the widest compatibility, and a QuickBooks-shaped CSV that imports on every QuickBooks Online plan.
Scanned and locked statements
Photographed or scanned PDFs go through OCR. Password-protected PDFs are unlocked in your browser, and the password never reaches our servers.
Fix a misread figure in place
If a digit is misread, correct it in the results table and the reconciliation re-runs straight away, before the file is built.

Frequently asked questions
Does Export Bank Statement write to my QuickBooks company?expand_more
No. The connection is read-only. You import the file yourself and match the transactions in QuickBooks, so nothing lands in your books without you seeing it.
Which QuickBooks Online plans does it work with?expand_more
All of them: Simple Start, Essentials, Plus and Advanced. The connection only reads company details, and the QuickBooks CSV import is available on every plan.
Should I use QBO, OFX or CSV?expand_more
Try QBO first if your QuickBooks accepts Web Connect files. If it shows error OL-301, use the QuickBooks CSV. OFX is useful if you also work in Quicken or Xero.
Do I need a paid plan?expand_more
Converting and downloading Excel, CSV or JSON is free. The QuickBooks formats (QBO, OFX and QuickBooks CSV) are included with every paid plan, starting with Starter.
How do I disconnect?expand_more
Click Disconnect from QuickBooks on your account page, or remove the app from inside QuickBooks. Either way the stored tokens are deleted and the connection is revoked with Intuit.
